For Better Updates

Journal Entry: Wed Jan 16, 2008, 2:00 PM
Confessions - I've had an off-DA weblog for over 7+ years now and I just never think to post a journal here, just deviations. So if you really want to follow a journal of mine, you'd be better to expect it at my Foxvox weblog ([link]). It's not as convenient as reading friends here, I know, but it has an RSS/XML feed so that's something at least. :-)

That's all I wanted to say at the moment!

Excuses

Journal Entry: Mon Aug 14, 2006, 1:30 PM
I apologize to those people who've made comments so long ago and didn't get a prompt reply. I also apologize to those people I replied to, but actually 'commented' instead of hitting the reply button, so they may not KNOW I replied, etc. Anyway - I think I'm starting to catch up again, so thank you all for your patience, and your wonderful remarks!

I've been busy working on a few different websites - here's one that's mine: Tshirt University: [link]
("University" spoof shirts - humorous, weird etc.)

And I've been doing art here and there too, just sort of scattered. This isn't a very satisfying or 'together' kind of journal post, but at least it's an update for now!

Just a Scrap - Poor Old Pear

Journal Entry: Sun Feb 5, 2006, 9:15 PM
Today we had a somewhat funny incident with overripe fruit that I tried to capture in a quick, five-minute watercolor vignette. It's the first scrap I've posted so I thought I'd highlight it in my journal too. Here's the link: [link]

Thanks So Much

I just wanted to say another thank you to everyone who commented about my Celtic Alphabet ([link]). I really appreciate all the feedback and support. And the 'favs'. So - just thanks again!

Russian Ice Festival

Journal Entry: Sun Jan 8, 2006, 2:16 PM
I've been to the Ice Festival in Ottawa, Canada, skated the canal, and loved the ice and snow sculptures there. But you MUST check out this page with photos of the Russian Ice Festival ([link])! Impressive, amazing, and awe-inspiring are really understatements. And the comment about not being able to slide while wearing courderoy pants just cracked me up. *grin*
